For the most part, the CGI animation process uses\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sidefx.com\/products\/houdini-fx\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.sidefx.com\/products\/houdini-fx\/\">Houdini FX<\/a>. The superior\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sidefx.com\/\">SideFX<\/a>\u00a0software works seamlessly with Maya and Cinema 4D objects loaded. The modelling of the\u00a0moss on the robot happened in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.autodesk.co.uk\/products\/maya\/overview\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.autodesk.co.uk\/products\/maya\/overview\">Autodesk Maya<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.autodesk.com\/support\/maya\/learn-explore\/caas\/CloudHelp\/cloudhelp\/2015\/ENU\/Maya\/files\/GUID-47644337-40F0-4766-BD3B-4104F9F9B7E2-htm.html\">Xgen <\/a>is the provider of the required mini frond-like\u00a0fibres that gives the moss\u00a0the correct\u00a0appearance. The rows of grass further away from the camera are strips of polygons. Houdini&#8217;s solver can make a library of individual plant movement cycles. \u00a0Differing wind intensities controls the application of a selection of these.
